PROGRAMS & PROJECTS

Our Internos: Residential Care & Sanctuary

The Internos are the heart of our residential community. These individuals are elderly members of the Spanish and Filipino communities who often lack family support or the financial means to cope with the complexities of ageing.

What we provide for our Interno Beneficiaries:

  • A Dignified Home: Living in modern, purpose-built facilities such as our main partner, the Santa Maria Josefa Home For The Aged, which features senior-friendly amenities like a gymnasium, physical rehabilitation rooms, central nurse station, recreation room and a chapel.
  • 24/7 Professional Care: Continuous general welfare oversight including geriatric doctors on retainer, ensuring consistent and personalized service.
  • Holistic Well-being: Spiritual and personal counseling, social activities, and community activities  to combat isolation and ensure every resident feels like part of a "chosen family".
  • End-to-End Commitment: Our care remains steadfast throughout their lives, including providing respectful interment and burial support to honor their final transition with dignity.

Our Externos: Community Outreach & Support

The Externos program is designed for elderly Spanish and Filipino individuals who still live within the community—either independently or with family—but require a helping hand to maintain their health, dignity, and quality of life.

Through this program, SEB acts as a "silent guardian," providing the essential resources that make the difference between a life of hardship and a life of security.

We support our Externo Beneficiaries through:

  • General welfare assistance: We provide a monthly lifeline by covering the costs of essentials that are often beyond the reach of those on a fixed or non-existent income.  This includes giving them access to specialized geriatric attention, laboratory tests, some medicines, etc.
  • Monthly Financial Support: A dedicated stipend to help cover basic living expenses, ensuring our beneficiaries can focus on their health rather than survival.
  • Social Connection: Our Externos are always invited to our community events and festivities, ensuring they remain socially integrated and connected.
Whether through a monthly gift or a one-time donation, our partners are the reason our doors remain open and our hearts remain full.
