At the Sociedad Española de Beneficencia (SEB), we believe that reaching one’s golden years should not mean a loss of independence or a fading of the spirit. Our promise is simple: a Dignified Life. To deliver on that promise, we work with partners who share our commitment to geriatric excellence.
Leading that charge in the National Capital Region is our flagship partner facility, the Santa Maria Josefa Home.
The home is operated by the Religious Sisters Servants of Jesus of Charity, an order founded in 1871 by St. Maria Josefa Sancho de Guerra. St. Maria Josefa’s mission was revolutionary for her time—treating the sick and elderly not just as patients, but as "Christ Himself." Today, the Sisters in Manila continue this legacy, ensuring that the facility is far more than a residential building; it is a sanctuary.
Specialized care requires a specialized environment. In collaboration with SEB, the home provides a comprehensive support system designed to honor the dignity of every resident:
By partnering with the Santa Maria Josefa Home, SEB ensures that every "Interno" receives professional nutrition, high-standard hygiene, and—most importantly—profound compassion. Together, we are building a community where aging is met with respect and every day is lived with purpose.
