Founded in 1948, Sociedad Española de Beneficencia (SEB) was born from a singular, noble purpose: to serve as a safety net for the Spanish community in the Philippines who had lost almost everything after WWII. Over the decades, that mission has grown into a broader calling. Today, Sociedad upholds the dignity and well-being of both Spanish and Filipino elderly in need.

The Internos are the heart of our residential community. These individuals are elderly members of the Spanish and Filipino communities who often lack family support or the financial means to cope with the complexities of ageing.

The Externos program is designed for elderly Spanish and Filipino individuals who still live within the community—either independently or with family—but require a helping hand to maintain their health, dignity, and quality of life.
